Barnsley will begin their 2013-14 season at home to FA Cup champions Wigan Athletic on August 3.

 

The Latics were relegated from the Premier League last season and have appointed Owen Coyles as their new manager.

 

The Reds' first away match is also against Lancashire opposition as they will travel to Paul Ince's Blackpool on August 10.

 

Barnsley will host Bolton Wanderers on Boxing Day and Derby County three days later before travelling to Birmingham City on January 1.

 

The final game of the season is at home to Queens Park Rangers on May 3.

 

The Reds will play Leeds away on December 21 and at home to Easter Saturday which is April 19.

 

Barnsley host Huddersfield on August 31 and visit them on March 1. The games against Sheffield Wednesday are on October 26, at Oakwell, and February 1 at Hillsborough. They host newly-promoted Doncaster Rovers on November 9 and visit them on February 15.

 

The long  trip to Bournemouth is on Tuesday night, September 17, while Yeovil away is on Saturday March 29.
