A POORLY little boy has been given sensory equipment to help him deal with his yet undiagnosed condition.

James Jones, five, from Bolton-upon-Dearne, was born with a condition that has yet to be diagnosed.

It affects his lungs, immune system, bowels and respiration and he needs sixteen medications a day which all have to be pumped into his stomach.

But little James, who is also autistic, is battling on and can now boast a £10,000 special bed at his Furlong Road home and with the help of donations he has sensory equipment in it to help him with his sensory processing disorder.

The money for the equipment, which cost a further £1,000, was found for the Jones family by Soldiers, Sailors, Airman's Families Association (SSAFA) as his dad Nigel served with the Welsh Guards for 23 years.
