Many of the issues have been before 8pm on Friday evenings which initially puzzled officers but now they have discovered many of those involved have been arriving in Penistone by bus, to attend a roller disco which starts at 8pm.

The trouble has cropped up between them getting off the bus and doors opening at the sessions, which are run at Penistone Leisure Centre.

There have also been complaints about crowds gathering in the area when the sessions have finished.
