A SCHOOL that has three times suffered extensive flooding has been struck by more water damage - after a botched attempted break in.

Staff at Dodworth St John’s Academy hoped they had seen the last of gigantic industrial drying machines.

But last weekend as the half-term holidays came to an end someone tried to break into the school on Barnsley Road and in doing so smashed a water pipe in the nursery unit.

So much water gushed out that the unit was unusable and nursery pupils have spent this week being taught in a different part of the school while the drying out process began all over again.
