A YOUNG woman has been captured on camera kicking in a toilet door at a park cafe in a desperate bid to use the loo.
The incident happened last Sunday afternoon at Locke Park cafe and was caught on CCTV, paid for by the Friends of Locke Park group in a bid to deter vandalism.
Malcolm Price, treasurer of the friends group, said a young woman, thought to be aged 16 or 17, was seen filmed at about 5.30pm kicking her way into the toilet area at the side of the cafe, which is locked at 5pm.
He said: “A young lady desperate to get to the toilets realised it was locked and has kicked the door in. We do not want to embarrass her by putting the video on our Facebook page but we have posted about the incident and hopefully she will come forward to pay for the damage.”
