A POGMOOR man has been jailed for more than two years after he pleaded guilty to dangerous driving and attempting to pervert the course of justice.

Jacob Sanderson, 22, of Pogmoor Road, pleaded guilty to the two counts after he ran over a pedestrian on May 6, 2018, during a police chase.

He was sentenced to 30 months in prison at Sheffield Crown Court last Thursday.

He has also been disqualified from driving for 39 months.
