A YOUNGSTER will have his hair cut for the first time in more than two years this week to raise money for The Little Princess Trust.

Harry Grantham, seven, attends Dodworth St John the Baptist Church of England Primary and decided when he was younger that he wouldn’t cut his hair until it was long enough to donate to the charity.

The time has now come for Harry to cut off his ponytail - and he’s even managed to raise more than £230 in less than one day.

His mum, 33-year-old Katie, told the Chronicle: “His hair has always been quite long but it’s never been at this length before.

“When he was younger he decided he was going to grow out his hair and donate it to The Little Princess Trust.

“I’m really proud of him for doing it because he can be quite sensitive about his hair and so it’s a big deal for him to have it cut off.

“The support has been great already - he’s raised £238 in just one day.”

Harry will be having his hair cut on Thursday at the Seed Hair Salon in Dodworth.
