A MAN has been given a 36-week jail term for a town centre assault.
Lee Cooper, of Station Road, Barnsley, appeared at Barnsley Magistrates’ Court on Monday and admitted affray and assault charges.
Officers received reports that a 30-year-old man had been assaulted on Sunday around 5.55am.
Lee, 46, was jailed having entered a guilty plea.
