SINGER Bette Wernick who took part in the BBC show Rock Till We Drop last year has

reinvented herself again.

The 79-year-old from Cawthorne performed in the BBC’s house band in the 1970s before renewing her fame last year onthe television show.

She’s now looking forward to a new career this time as a model.

“I’ve recently been signed by the Grey Model agency,” she said.

“I’m looking forward to it.It’s exciting to seehow I can get into it.

“It’s probably something I should have considered previously.

“I was spotted in a photo shoot I did for You magazine and they signed me up from there it’s a worldwide agency.”

Her new role won’t mean an end to her singing career though and she’ll be performing at Cawthorne Club on August 12.
