THESE are the photographs showing the difference generous Barnsley mums and dads have made to thousands of children in Africa.
As these photographs show - children throughout the Arusha area in Tanzania have now got uniforms and that means they will be allowed to get an education.
Without a uniform no child is allowed to go to school. A huge 3,500 uniforms were donated by Barnsley folk.
Lisa Beckingham came up with the idea of asking parents to donate unwanted/outgrown uniforms. The 33-year-old teaching assistant has in the past done voluntary work in Africa hoped she might collect a few dozen uniforms.

Production Editor, Ashley Ball, said: "In an ever changing media world, it’s important that news is reported correctly and without any hidden agenda.
