A STAGGERING 80 tonnes of waste has been shifted from a Royston street since September.
Efforts have been stepped up on Milgate Street after the troubled area was given priority status by Jeanette Millward, the enforcement officer who was brought in by the North East Area Council to clamp down on the district’s absent landlords earlier this year.
Ms Millward has dealt with 176 complaints from June 20 to September 30, according to a report compiled by the area council, which has seen her target hotspot areas in Cudworth, Grimethorpe and Royston.
