A MOTHER who was diagnosed with ovarian cancer weeks before she was due to fly to Malta for her daughter’s wedding is raising money for alternative treatment in Germany.
Jill Speed, 56, of Elm Court, Worsbrough Dale, found a lump in September, just weeks before she was to fly out to see her daughter Kerry get married.
Kerry, 28, of Sheepcote Walk, Stairfoot, is now trying to raise £20,000 to help pay for treatments in Germany which are not available in England.

Production Editor, Ashley Ball, said: "In an ever changing media world, it’s important that news is reported correctly and without any hidden agenda.
Your support allows us to keep holding decision-makers to account and report on everything that happens in the town, good or bad, fairly."
