LITTLE Peyton Fryer will always be able to tell the unusual story of where she was born.

Mum Tracey, 26, of Clover Walk, Bolton-on-Dearne, was on the toilet at home when Peyton decided she wanted to enter the world.

Diabetic Tracey was expecting doctors to have to induce the birth so once Peyton emerged she admits that she was frozen with shock.

Fortunately her husband Karl, 25, heard the commotion and dashed to rescue the baby from the pan.

Tracey said: "I was 38 weeks' pregnant and in no pain. I went to the toilet, pushed and the baby came.

"I was in total shock but was lucky that Karl was there to get the baby out."

Grandmother Margaret Swift added: "Karl will always be a hero in my eyes and I can't thank him enough for his quick thinking."

Now two weeks old, Peyton is healthy and is at home with her parents and 14-month-old sister Madina.
