Stevie Mallan is due to leave Barnsley today for Scottish Premier League club Hibernian.

The 22-year-old midfielder joined the Reds last season from Scottish Championship club St Mirren but made just nine appearances as the Oakwell club were relegated into League One.

He is having a medical with the Edinburgh club who have agreed a fee with Barnsley. He could be the third Reds player to be sold this summer after Christoph Knasmullner went to Rapid Vienna and Matty Pearson moved to Luton Town.
