A BREWERY based in Darton wants to open a ‘micro bar’ on the Victorian Arcade in Barnsley town centre.
Two Roses Brewery founder James Taylor has applied to Barnsley Council to change the use of a former cake supplies shop at the bottom of the arcade to house the Two Roses Brewery Tap micro bar.
In his application Mr Taylor says it will serve craft beer, cider and wine and the location has been deliberately targeted to support the council’s regeneration plans for the Victorian Arcade by attracting ‘a high end customer’.
