Knotweed problem 'could wipes thousands' off house prices

RAMPANT Japanese knotweed in parts of Pogmoor could be a threat to house prices and people's ability to get mortgages and home insurance, it has been claimed.
Russel Wray spotted the destructive weed that can grow through concrete, walls and floors about a week ago on areas of council and privately owned land in and around Pogmoor.
