MORE than 21 years after he retired from showbiz Charlie Williams is still making people laugh.
A video of Charlie on stage telling his jokes the way only he could ever tell them, has been watched by almost half a million people over the past few weeks.
The video, on the Spotted in Yorkshire Facebook page, has also attracted a legion of fans- old and young, to post their tributes and memories of Charlie.
Charles Adolphus Williams, a former successful Doncaster Rovers footballer, became Britain’s first well-known black stand-up comedian.
