THE Co-operative Royston has presented a cheque for £350 to Barnsley Hospice from its in-store fundraising activities.
Sam Silverwood, assistant fund-raising manager, said: “We are grateful to the Co-op Royston staff for choosing to support Barnsley Hospice. Every penny donated can help make a real difference to the lives of those who are in need of end of life care.”
Barnsley Hospice care is free for patients and their families but not free to provide. It is only with help of its supporters that the Hospice can provide best quality end of life care and support to hundreds of local people and their families each year.
