THREE servicemen underwent a sponsored leg waxing last weekend in order to raise money for Weston Park Hospital Cancer Charity.
Liam Haigh, 22, of Hanover Street, Thurnscoe, serves with the RAF and had both legs done.
Also braving the waxing carried out by Julie Majerczak were Matthew Turton and Darren Clayton.
The event, held at the church hall of Goldthorpe Pentecostal, was arranged by Lilly Dorritt, 66, who has two sisters suffering with cancer.
