A GROUP of Barnsley horse lovers spend their spare time tracking down escaped, abandoned and stray horses at all hours of the day and night.
The horse watch group has been working in conjunction with the police for more than 18 months, but have now made their first official rescue.
They are hoping to get funding to set up a rescue centre to house abandoned horses, and Norman the four-month-old foal is their first official resident.
