A VACANT Wombwell church could become offices if plans submitted to Barnsley Council are approved.
Plans have been submitted by Adam Yates, of Yates Drywall Limited, for a change of use to convert the Pentecostal Church on Cemetery Road into offices for his firm.
The church is currently only used to store chairs and old furniture, and in the application Mr Yates states he believes the congregation left earlier this year.
