BARNSLEY Premier Leisure and Weston Park Hospital cancer charity has teamed up as part of a ‘fighting fit’ initiative.
BPL operates a number of leisure facilities across Barnsley and the charity has announced details of a major new five year partnership to support cancer patients across the region.
The partnership will see BPL support the work of the charity to help raise vital funds.
Chief executive of BPL Tim Wilson said: “We are delighted to have this partnership in place and be able to offer our services in support of cancer patients in the region.
“As a charitable not-for-profit company ourselves, being able to offer our facilities to those suffering with the disease is something we were extremely eager to get involved in.”
