EVER remarked that someone’s skinny jeans look painted on? Well these literally have.

A Dutch body painting expert will be in Barnsley this weekend teaching people how to paint realistic jeans onto semi-naked models.

Donna Godfrey, who runs Yorkshire Face Paints, is hosting her first body painting training workshop tomorrow, which is aimed at face painters of all abilities, but is open to anyone who just wants to give it a go.

She would also welcome anybody who wants to be a model and try out wearing the skinniest of all skinny jeans.

“Nothing is on show,” said Donna, 35, who runs her business from her home a Kingsway, Grimethorpe. “The ladies wear G strings, and the gents wear tight fitting boxers which are obviously suitable for body painting - not cotton.

“It’s free to come along if you want to have a go at being a model.

“We’ve got Richard Nijboer coming over from Holland to run the course. He is a real expert and paints absolutely incredible jeans. It’s going to be a step by step process where he starts a design on his model, and the students copy.”

Donna launched her business last July. She sells products to face painters, both professional and hobbyists, and is a face painter herself. She is also branching out into hosting events and workshops.

The event is taking place tomorrow from 10am to 4pm at Prospect Street Community Centre, Barnsley.
