PUPILS in Wombwell don’t need to board the Hogwarts Express to go to wizarding school.

King’s Oak is transformed into Hogwarts, the fictional wizarding school from J.K Rowling’s famous book series, once a week as part of a new Harry Potter club started at the school.

Year three and four teacher Katie Mulligan started the club after pupils discussed their favourite books - and has brought plenty of her own enthusiasm to the cauldron.

Miss Mulligan said: “They write spells, make potions, make outfits. Some of the staff are really keen. They are so excitable about it. It is nice to do something a bit different.”
