These footie players are keeping out the icy blast thanks to Yorkshire Bank, which donated £500 to buy much-needed jackets.

The youngsters from Hoyland Common Falcons JFC under-eights said a big thank you to the Chapeltown branch of the bank which also helped them replace old and failing training equipment.

The boost will help them to continue training during the cold autumn and winter months.

Manager and coach, Dene Firth, said: "The generosity of Yorkshire Bank made a real difference to our team and we'd like to put on record our thanks. It was Gemma Bullas from Yorkshire Bank, also a much valued volunteer for our team, who took the time to apply for this grant."
