THREE men are lucky to be alive after their car overturned, narrowly missing a shop.
At 9pm on Monday, it is alleged an uninsured black Audi A3 failed to stop for officers. Following this, a collision took place on Knollbeck Lane at the junction with Dearne Road.
Three men who were travelling in the Audi sustained minor injuries. Nobody else was injured and no other vehicles were involved in the collision. The men, aged 22, 23 and 24 were arrested and later released under investigation.
Police are now appealing for witnesses, or anyone with CCTV or dash cam footage of the vehicle prior to, or during the collision.
