Kath Holt watched in horror after son Josh, 18, was injured during a motocross competition at Finningley last September.

Kath, of Ashwood Grove, Great Houghton, said paramedics thought Josh had spinal injuries and he was taken by air ambulance to the Northern General and then transferred to the Royal Hallamshire when it was discovered he had a bleed on the brain.
