A BARNSLEY mum is hoping to return this miner’s lamp and medallion to its rightful owner after it was found near the hospital.
They were found by Sarah Robinson’s partner Gareth near Gawber Road club.
The medallion contains a picture of a miners and is inscribed with the phrase: ‘1889-1989 MFGB - NUM Century of Struggle’.
Inscribed on the miner’s lamp is the name Sir Humphry Davy and the dates 1778-1829.
