TWO pensioners have been left shaken and upset after two men broke into their home.
Police said two suspects covered their faces before forcing their way into the property on Lane Cottages, Royston, between 6.30pm and 7.30pm last Saturday.
One of the suspects held one of the occupants while the other suspect searched the house.
They fled the scene empty handed.
The suspects are believed to be men, and one was carrying a metal bar.
The occupants, who were in their 70s, were not injured.
Anyone with information is asked to call 101 quoting incident number 1040 of January 13.
