Staff at Barnsley Hospital want to trace a mystery woman who contacted Paul O'Grady's radio show to thank them for saving a close relative's life.
The woman, known only as Susannah, wrote in to the Radio 2 show last month to praise staff for saving the life of her relative, known only as Peter.
The feature on the show is called 'Thank You' and takes place every week.
But the hospital does not have any other details about who Susannah or Peter are.
Paul then sent congratulatory mugs and a signed certificate to the hospital which said: "I would like to thank all the staff at Barnsley Hospital for the brilliant work you do!"
Jill Pell, head of patient experience at Barnsley Hospital, said she would like to track down Susannah to find out which member of staff or team of staff deserved the recognition.
She added: "We'd like to thank the caller for giving us the valuable feedback.
"We like to recognise the contribution our staff give and I think we have a very committed workforce so we'd really like the opportunity to identify the member of staff or the team and would like the caller to come forward."
She said receiving praise and complaints motivated staff and that the certificate would be displayed in the relevant ward when the staff who had helped Peter had been identified.
