THE contestant from Barnsley entering the Big Brother house is waitress Sian Hamshaw.

Sian entered the house tonight along with 13 other contestants.

Viewers saw her say she was a single mother to a four-year-old who loved her customers and is enjoying her life.

She described herself as girly and crazy, with a dislike of miserable people.

She said: “It takes a lot for me to lose my temper, but if someone messed with my food, I would be a bit upset.”

If she won, she said she’d buy her mum a place in Tenerife and a caravan in Skegness.

The housemates will live together for weeks with no access to the outside world, will compete in tasks set by Big Brother and will have to nominate each other for eviction.

It was confirmed today that this series of the surveillance show will be the last on Channel Five.
