BARNSLEY actor Shaun Dooley made an appearance in Sunday’s episode of Dr Who.
He appeared as Epzo, alongside Jodie Whittaker in episode two The Ghost Monument.
The pair have previously appeared in detective series Broadchurch, in which Shaun played Rickie Gillespie.
Shaun tweeted: “For the first time forever I’m sat snuggled up with all my kids to watch something I’m in. Such a privilege to be a new character in the ever expanding whoniverse! Great job with great people. Hope you all enjoy.”
Last week, the Chronicle revealed Jodie’s Barnsley links. She may be from West Yorkshire, but her dad, granddad and great-granddad before her were all Barnsley born and bred.
