A SCHOOL says it will ‘deal appropriately’ with the culprits behind the vandalism of a school bus.

The incident involving Netherwood Academy’s bus, run by operator Powell’s, was reported yesterday (Wednesday).

A spokesperson for the Wombwell school said: “We take seriously an incident of damage to the school bus yesterday afternoon.

“We are working closely with the bus company to look into the matter.

“We have high expectations for our pupils' behaviour, which extend beyond the school gate, and we will deal appropriately with anyone who is found to have been involved.”
