THEY have a combined age of 192 and admit they have found some of their training hard work.
But despite aches and pains this intrepid trio from Barnsley Rotary Club are determined to cycle more than 350 kilometres from Barnsley to their Dutch sister club.
David Dand, Stephen Eyre and Roger Moss will get on their bikes to get to Hull before catching the ferry to Rotterdam where they will be met by members of the Neede Rotary club.
They will then cycle 250 kilometres across Holland to Eibergen in Eastern Netherlands on the Dutch/German border where the Neede club is based.
We have been at the heart of our community, every week, since 1858. The town and its people have changed dramatically since then but the Chronicle has been a constant.
