FIRE-FIGHTERS were called out on Sunday night following reports of a blaze in Locke Park.
A member of the public reported the fire at 7.45pm and a crew from Cudworth Station arrived shortly afterwards to find a bin was on fire.
The crew was at the scene for around half an hour.
A spokesman for South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue said the fire had been started deliberately.
