AN INVESTIGATION has been launched after plaques were taken from a crematorium.
On Wednesday, 100 bronze plaques were taken from Barnsley Crematorium Doncaster Road.
A spokesperson from Barnsley Council said: “We will be replacing the plaques and contacting the families concerned.
“If you have any information to assist the investigation, please contact the police on 101 and quote the investigation number 14/28430/19.”
