DETECTIVES investigating the murder of Barnsley woman Jill Hibberd have charged a 40-year-old man with murder and burglary.
Lee Trevor Fueloep, of Willow Garth in Wombwell, is due to appear at Barnsley Magistrates Court this morning.
Jill, 73, was found at her home in Roy Kilner Road, Wombwell, at 7.45am on Thursday. A post mortem revealed she died of stab wounds.
Officers are appealing for sightings of Jill’s red Audi TT , registration YM17 SYJ, which was taken from the driveway of her home at 9pm on Wednesday.
Anyone with information about the car or incident is urged to contact detectives immediately.
