A WOMAN was threatened at knife-point by would-be robbers who demanded she hand over her dog during a terrifying attempted armed robbery.
Police say the incident happened at around 11.45pm on Tuesday 24 June, when a 20-year-old woman was walking her dog from Shield Avenue, Worsbrough, towards Vernon Road.
It is believed that three men approached the woman and one allegedly threatened her with a knife, demanding she give them her dog.
The dog barked at the men, scaring them away.
Officers have issued an e-fit of the man who is believed to have threatened the woman with a knife.
