WHEN it comes to spending a penny it seems Barnsley is the best place to be.
That’s because two town centre pubs are flushed with success after winning acclaim for the quality and standards of their toilets in the Loo of the Year Awards 2016.
The Silkstone Inn in Market Street and The Joseph Bramah in Market Hill - both Wetherspoon pubs - proved anything but bog standard by being awarded a platinum star rating by inspectors.
