BOLTON-UPON-DEARNE indie rockers The Sherlocks have not hung about and will release their second album in 2019.

The quartet’s debut release ‘Live For The Moment’ proved to be a big hit with it making the top six in 2017.

The Sherlocks’s reputation then contnued to grow with support slots to Liam Gallagher and air time on Radio One.

The group of four brothers, Brandon and Kiaran Crook and Josh and Andy Davidson, finished recording their as-yet untitled second album at Liverpool’s Parr Street studios over the festive period.

As well as the album release, the group are also looking forward to a huge support slot with the Kaiser Chiefs at Leeds’s Elland Road this summer.

Drummer Brandon said: “We spent a month and a bit on the album, coming home at weekends which was a bit different to the first album where we lived in Liverpool for a month.

“We have got some big gigs coming up this year and festivals. We don’t stop as a band.

“It’s going to be a properly exciting year for us.

“There are no other bands who released their debut album at the same time as us who have now done their second so we’re flying.”
