STAFF and residents at a care home have been wrapping and donating gifts to give to the hospital this Christmas.
Residents and staff at Thornhill care home have taken part in fundraising to create several gift boxes to give to elderly and vulnerable patients who have little or no visitors over the festive period.
Lisa Calvert, charity development manager said: “We would like to say a massive thanks to the team at Thornhill care home who have supported us again with this fantastic festive delivery, not only have they provided presents boxes themselves but they have also engaged the local community who have really got behind the project.
