A WOMAN will jump from a plane at 13,000 feet to raise money for charity after her mother was diagnosed with bowel cancer.
Kath Jones, 49, of Ravenna Close, off Doncaster Road, Barnsley, was diagnosed shortly before Christmas after experiencing symptoms including back pain, shooting pains in her legs and trouble walking.
She is currently undergoing radiotherapy and chemotherapy treatment at Weston Park Hospital five days a week for five weeks in a bid to shrink the tumour, so it can be removed through an operation.
