WORK has started to turn the part-built City Reach building into 86 apartments - almost six years after work stopped.
The development, near Morrisons, was abandoned at the height of the recession but bought by Superior Living Limited for £375,000 last year.
Trainee site manager Brian Jackson said: "Lots of people have been asking what's happening with it but they can rest assured that work has started.
"We're hoping to have the work finished in between nine and 11 months."
