BARNSLEY MP Stephanie Peacock will hold an event in Hoyland next week to exchange school uniforms.
The MP will be at West Bank House in Hoyland as part of her school uniform exchange in partnership with Barnsley Council.
Donations to the uniform exchange have closed today but the event, on Tuesday, will be a drop-in for parents to call in and collect any items of uniform they need.
Stephanie said: “I’ve been blown away by the scale of the donations we’ve received as part of the school uniform exchange.
“I want to thank everyone for their generosity, which could make a real difference to so many families.
“With donations closing today, it’s now so important that we distribute this uniform to families across Barnsley, and that’s why I’m holding this event on Tuesday.
“If anyone can’t make it to the drop-in, please don’t hesitate to contact my office to arrange for uniform to be posted to you, or to arrange a different time for collection.”
