SCHOOLCHILDREN who marked the start of their summer holidays by tearing up exercise books and throwing the remnants along a road will be made to do a litter pick next month.
Pupils from Outwood Academy Shafton left a trail of mess in their wake in July - but council enforcement officers have been working with the school to identify those involved.
Lisa Allott, acting principal, confirmed that those who are identified will be dealt with on their return.
