EVERY year Dickie Bird receives lots of birthday cards.
And one is particularly special as it is sent to him by Her Majesty the Queen.
This year was no exception for the world’s most famous cricket umpire.
Dickie took the treasured golden coloured card he received on his 83rd birthday last week to show to the children at Ward Green Primary School who invited him along after studying his autobiography.
