Dr Alan Billings has been re-elected as the Police and Crime Commissioner for South Yorkshire.

Dr Billings received 144,978 votes, followed by Gavin Felton with 57,062.

The overall turn out for South Yorkshire was 29.48 per cent.

A total of 47,404 people in Barnsley voted out of 175,998 - a 26.9 per cent turnout.
