BIN collections will change for some residents over the festive period.
For households with bin collections due on Tuesday, December 26, this will be changed to: grey bin, Wednesday, December 27; blue bin, Thursday, December 28 and brown bins on Friday, December 29.
For anyone unsure of their collection days, up to date information will be available through the council’s website. A reminder on also be set on mobile phones using the council’s web app to let you know what colour bin to put out on which day.
Barnsley’s waste and recycling sites are open every day of the year except Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day. For more information, visit the waste and recycling section of the council’s website.
