A SCOTTISH couple who offered a £5,000 reward for information after their £40,000 motor home was stolen in Barnsley say they are ‘disgusted’ that police still hadn’t looked at CCTV footage of the theft more than a week after it was stolen.

Robert and Sheila Elder had ordered a new £75,000 motor home from Oakwell Motor Homes on Pontefract Road.

They had been due to trade in their three-year-old vehicle last Monday morning but it was stolen from the car park of Premier Inn Dearne Valley where they were staying the night before.

“I didn’t hear anything from the police all week, but then on Friday night, five days after it was stolen, I got a call from a police officer telling me he’d been assigned to the case,” said Mrs Elder, of West Lothian.
