FROM Budapest to Barnsley – 11 countries in 11 days.
That is the challenge five firefighters from blue watch in Barnsley have come up with to describe the marathon cycle ride they are planning for next month.
They hope to raise at least £11,000 for local charities Barnsley Hospice and Candlelighters, which supports children with cancer and their families
We have been at the heart of our community, every week, since 1858. The town and its people have changed dramatically since then but the Chronicle has been a constant.
